The clinical value comes from trend. A single sway measurement is a snapshot; a series of them, captured consistently, shows whether balance is improving, holding, or quietly declining. Read alongside clinical judgment and the patient's broader picture, objective balance measurement helps care teams act on changes earlier — before an unsteady moment becomes a fall.
